Shades of India is looking for "Sr. Fashion Designer - Export Garments"
Role Description The Senior Export Fashion Designer will design and develop collections for international markets, with a focus on high Fashion garments and involves creating detailed design concepts, preparing technical specifications, and overseeing sampling and fittings. The role includes close collaboration with embroidery, Shefali and sourcing materials, and ensuring quality and consistency across product lines. The Senior Export Fashion Designer will work with production, merchandising, and export teams to align designs with market trends, buyer requirements, and brand guidelines,
Proficiency in Embroidery design and embellishment techniques, with the ability to collaborate effectively with artisan teams.
Hands-on experience with Fitting, garment construction, and pattern understanding to ensure accurate silhouettes and sizing.
Experience in export-oriented fashion or working with international buyers and brands.
Ability to translate trends and buyer inputs into commercially viable designs while maintaining brand identity.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
Person should have experience with Hi-fashion and beaded garments.
