Role Description The Part-Time Faculty role at UforUX is a remote position focused on teaching and mentoring learners in UX, product, and design research. Day-to-day activities include preparing and delivering online lectures or workshops, developing course materials and assignments, and providing constructive feedback on learner projects. The faculty member will support learners through virtual office hours, discussions, and project guidance, ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The role may also involve collaborating with other faculty members to improve curricula, contribute to academic resources, and stay current with emerging practices in UX research and inclusive design.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in UX research, user-centered design, and related disciplines (e.g., product design, interaction design).
Experience teaching, mentoring, or facilitating learning in a remote or online environment.
Ability to design clear, engaging course content, assignments, and assessment criteria.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on inclusive and accessible teaching practices.
Comfort with digital collaboration and learning tools (e.g., video conferencing platforms, learning management systems).
Relevant academic credentials or substantial professional experience in UX, product, or design research.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive design, diversity, and learner-centered education.
