Role Description The Senior Accountant role at Swan Medicot LLP is a full-time, on-site position based in Rajkot. The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll coordination. This role will prepare and review financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Senior Accountant will monitor cost data related to manufacturing, assist in financial analysis for management decision-making, and collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The position involves implementing and maintaining internal controls, improving accounting processes, and providing accurate, timely financial reports to leadership.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of relevant tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.
Ability to work with accounting software and ERP systems; advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and auditors.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a senior or lead accounting role, ideally within manufacturing or export-oriented companies.
