Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Navi Mumbai. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing invoices, processing payments, monitoring receivables and payables, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role will support the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses, while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal policies. The Accountant will also collaborate with project, procurement, and finance teams to track project costs, support audits, and contribute to process improvements in financial operations.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and project accounting to track expenses and support financial planning for EPC and infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation rules, GST, and regulatory compliance relevant to corporate and project finance.
Experience using accounting and ERP software, along with solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to interpret financial data for decision-making and risk mitigation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external auditors.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC sectors is beneficial, along with a high level of integrity and commitment to ethical financial practices.
