Role Description The Education Counselor role at GTIM is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The counselor provides guidance to prospective and current learners on suitable courses, specializations, and career pathways aligned with their goals and academic background. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, and explaining program details, eligibility, fees, and admission procedures. The role also involves supporting learners through the enrollment process, maintaining accurate records of counseling interactions, and coordinating with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth learner experience. The counselor is expected to participate in outreach activities, information sessions, and events that promote GTIM’s programs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education domain knowledge to guide learners on appropriate courses and institutions.
Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to support learner well-being and career planning.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.
Candidates should ideally have experience in academic advising, admissions counseling, or related education services.
A bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Psychology, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications in counseling or career guidance are an advantage.
Ability to work with diverse learner profiles, handle multiple inquiries, and use basic office and CRM software tools effectively.
