Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Assistant Engineer at GBEL Textile and Washing Industry Ltd. The Assistant Engineer will support senior engineers in planning, monitoring, and improving textile and washing operations, including process setup, parameter tracking, and workflow documentation. Daily tasks include assisting in troubleshooting machinery and process issues, collecting and analyzing production data, and preparing technical reports and process improvement recommendations. The role also involves coordinating with production and quality teams, following safety and compliance guidelines, and supporting the implementation of new technologies or methods. The Assistant Engineer is expected to communicate clearly with team members, manage tasks independently, and participate in remote meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of basic engineering principles, preferably in textile, mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, process flows, and standard operating procedures.
Competence in data collection, basic analysis, and use of spreadsheets or simple engineering software tools.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to follow structured processes and safety standards.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or a closely related technical field is preferred.
Interest or experience in textile manufacturing, garment washing, or related industrial operations is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
