Role Description The Consultant role at Lin’sTravel is a full-time remote position focused on advising clients on travel options and creating customized trip plans. In this role, the Consultant communicates with clients via phone, video, and email to understand travel needs, recommend destinations, and provide detailed itinerary suggestions. The Consultant researches transportation, accommodations, and activities, compares pricing and availability, and prepares clear proposals and booking confirmations. Daily tasks include managing bookings and changes, resolving travel-related issues, coordinating with external partners, and maintaining accurate client records. The Consultant also contributes to improving internal processes, staying current on travel regulations and trends, and supporting team initiatives to enhance the overall client experience.
Qualifications
Ability to conduct thorough research on destinations, travel options, and pricing, and to present findings clearly to clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, client service, and professional written and verbal interaction.
Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple client requests, deadlines, and changing priorities.
Comfort with remote work tools and technology, including email, video conferencing, collaborative platforms, and basic office software.
Attention to detail in documenting itineraries, bookings, and client preferences, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Problem-solving skills for handling travel disruptions, changes, and special requests in a calm and solution-oriented manner.
Previous experience in travel, hospitality, customer service, or consulting is beneficial.
Relevant education or training in tourism, business, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
Interest in global travel, cultural awareness, and willingness to stay informed about travel regulations and industry developments.
