Role Description The Delivery Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The Delivery Assistant will support daily delivery operations by loading and unloading goods, verifying items against delivery notes, and ensuring products are handled safely and securely. Responsibilities include accompanying drivers on routes, assisting with navigation when needed, delivering orders to customer locations, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery, and maintaining basic documentation. The role also involves organizing stock in the vehicle, reporting any delivery issues or discrepancies, and following company guidelines for safety and customer interaction. The Delivery Assistant is expected to work closely with the logistics team, follow schedules, and help keep vehicles and equipment clean and ready for use.
Qualifications
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving goods safely and efficiently.
Basic organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to follow routes and delivery schedules.
Attention to detail for checking items against invoices or delivery notes and maintaining simple records.
Clear and respectful communication skills for interacting with customers, drivers, and team members.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility toward completing daily tasks.
Willingness to follow safety procedures, company policies, and instructions from supervisors.
Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or warehouse support is an advantage but not required.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru for full-time shifts, including weekends or extended hours if needed.
