About Neuron
Neuron is an early-stage, founder-led health-tech startup building an AI-native platform combining digital biomarkers with AI-driven therapy — with safety, auditability, and evidence-based validation as core design principles from day one.
We have a working prototype already built and are raising our first round of funding. You would be one of two key cofounder hires this raise is specifically designed to bring on board.
The Role
We're looking for a technical cofounder to lead the build of Neuron's digital biomarker platform end to end — from architecture through to a production-ready product.
What You'll Do
Design and build the core technology platform, including the data pipelines and digital biomarker infrastructure that power it
Build a safety and oversight layer to ensure the platform behaves reliably and responsibly at all times
Help guide the platform toward relevant regulatory and compliance standards
Set technical direction and eventually build and lead an engineering team
Work closely with the founder and a future clinical/scientific cofounder to shape product and company strategy
What We're Looking For
Real experience building and shipping software products, ideally at a senior or leadership level
Comfort working with AI/ML technologies; experience with sensor data, wearables, or digital biomarkers is a strong plus
Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or safety-critical systems is a plus but not required
A founder mindset — comfortable building from scratch and wearing multiple hats early on
