Role Description The Technical Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves providing technical support and guidance on fixing solutions to customers, sales teams, and distributors, including product selection, application advice, and troubleshooting. The Technical Consultant will conduct site visits, demonstrations, and training sessions, and prepare technical documentation, reports, and application notes. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing customer requirements, recommending suitable products, resolving technical issues, supporting pre- and post-sales activities, and collaborating with the sales team to respond to inquiries and tenders. The role also includes gathering feedback from the field to help improve products, processes, and customer experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess applications, interpret technical requirements, and propose effective solutions.
Candidates should possess Consulting skills to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide clear, solution-oriented recommendations.
Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose product or application issues and resolve them efficiently on-site and remotely.
Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support the sales team with technical input, contribute to presentations, and help drive customer adoption of solutions.
Diploma or degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or related field) or a comparable technical qualification is preferred.
Experience in construction, fastening systems, building materials, or a related technical field is an advantage.
Effective communication skills, ability to work on-site with customers, and readiness to travel locally as required.
Proficiency in preparing technical reports and presentations, and comfort using basic office and documentation software.
