Role Description The Data Science Corporate Trainer will design and deliver engaging training sessions for corporate learners, focusing on core and advanced data science concepts. This part-time, hybrid role is based in Bengaluru, with a mix of on-site training and work-from-home tasks such as preparing lesson materials, updating course content, and assessing participant progress. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting workshops, creating practical exercises and projects, explaining complex topics in accessible ways, and providing constructive feedback to participants. The trainer will collaborate with internal teams to align training content with client needs, maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tools and methodologies, and contribute to continuous improvement of Asli Learn’s data science curriculum.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Science Education with the ability to connect concepts to data-driven applications.
Proficiency in Physics and Mathematics, supporting the explanation of statistical, analytical, and modeling techniques.
Experience as a Qualified Teacher or Trainer, with proven skills in classroom management and learner engagement.
Competence in Lesson Planning, including structuring modules, setting learning objectives, and designing assessments.
Hands-on experience in data science tools and methods (e.g., Python or R, SQL, machine learning libraries, data visualization).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse groups of adult learners.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru, managing both in-person sessions and remote preparation effectively.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
