ABOUT HIREZ
HireZ is a trust-first rental marketplace launching in Bengaluru. We connect verified hosts with renters across five categories: residential properties, PG and co-living, commercial spaces and offices, event venues, and electronics and creator equipment.
Our launch cluster is JP Nagar, HSR Layout, and BTM Layout. We are pre-launch, small, and moving fast.
THE ROLE
This is a field-first role. You will be on the ground most of the week — walking into buildings, meeting property owners, and getting listings live. You are not managing a process from a desk. You are the reason supply exists.
You report directly to the Founder & CEO until an Operations Lead joins.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Host acquisition — Visit property owners across the launch cluster. Pitch HireZ, handle objections, and convert conversations into signed hosts.
Listing activation — Take a host from yes to live. Verify ownership documents and KYC, coordinate the photographer, check photos against our quality standard, and confirm pricing and description are accurate before the listing goes live.
Vendor coordination — Own the photographer relationship day to day. Book shoots, confirm timings, reschedule when owners cancel, and chase delivery. No photos, no listing.
Category range — You'll handle all five categories. A PG owner cares about occupancy. A commercial landlord cares about tenant quality. Someone renting out camera equipment cares about damage and deposits. You'll learn each one.
Record keeping — Update the CRM and tracker daily. Every host, every status, every next action.
Booking support — Act as first point of contact when a booking runs into a problem on the day.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Month 1 — First hosts onboarded. You know the pitch cold in Kannada.
Month 3 — Running your own territory. Verification turnaround under 24 hours. Listings live within 48 hours of host signup.
Month 6 — You've built a repeatable playbook and you're training the next associate.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— Based in Bengaluru and able to be in the launch cluster daily
— Comfortable with daily field work — this is not a hybrid or desk role
— Kannada proficiency is a strong advantage; both is ideal
— Field sales, hyperlocal ops, rental ops, or partner onboarding experience is a plus, not a must
— Self-driven. There is no playbook and no one checking in hourly
— Can start within 7 days
COMPENSATION
Base: ₹20,000 per month
Incentive: ₹500 per verified listing added. No cap.
Probation: 3 months, measured against listings live, verification turnaround, and record accuracy
GROWTH PATH
The first Operations Lead we promote internally will come from this team. If you perform, the role above you is yours to take.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Trust-first means every listing you verify is a promise to a renter. Bad photos, wrong pricing, an unverified owner — that's a broken promise. At launch, marketplace quality is whatever standard you set.
