Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Bally Jagachha. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical components and assemblies for steel plant and heavy industrial applications, using CAD tools and established engineering standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed 2D and 3D models, preparing manufacturing drawings, performing basic calculations and design validations, and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability. The role also involves updating design documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating with suppliers or internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize product performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.
Candidates should have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Candidates should demonstrate good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industrial safety practices.
Candidates should possess strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Candidates should be able to work effectively on-site in a factory environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in heavy industry or steel plant-related projects is an advantage.
