Principal UX Specialist / Product Experience Lead
We are seeking an experienced Principal UX Specialist / Product Experience Lead to lead user experience strategy, interaction design, usability research, customer journey optimisation, and product experience initiatives across digital products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and define UX strategy, product experience frameworks, interaction principles, and experience design standards.
Conduct and oversee user research, usability testing, customer interviews, behavioural analysis, and experience assessments.
Develop and optimise user journeys, information architecture, interaction flows, wireframes, prototypes, and experience concepts.
Translate customer insights, business requirements, and product objectives into intuitive and effective user experiences.
Collaborate with product managers, product designers, engineers, researchers, data analysts, marketing teams, and business stakeholders.
Identify and resolve usability issues, customer pain points, interaction challenges, accessibility concerns, and experience inconsistencies.
Lead the development and maintenance of UX standards, design systems, interaction patterns, user flows, and experience guidelines.
Analyse user behaviour, product analytics, usability findings, customer feedback, and experience metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead UX initiatives across product discovery, concept development, prototyping, testing, product launch, and continuous optimisation.
Review and provide strategic guidance on product interfaces, customer journeys, digital touchpoints, and overall experience quality.
Prepare and present UX research findings, experience strategies, design recommendations, usability reports, and executive presentations.
Mentor and provide direction to UX designers, researchers, interaction designers, and other experience professionals while promoting user-centred design practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Product Design, Psychology, Digital Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in UX design, product experience, interaction design, user research, service design, or a related senior UX role.
Strong knowledge of user-centred design, usability principles, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, design systems, and UX research methodologies.
Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools, usability testing platforms, analytics tools, or other relevant UX software.
Strong strategic, analytical, creative, research, communication, presentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate complex user needs, business requirements, technical constraints, and research insights into practical experience solutions.
Experience working with cross-functional product, engineering, design, data, marketing, and business teams is preferred.
Relevant professional certification in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Usability, Service Design, or related disciplines is an advantage.
