Role Description The Mechanical Engineer will work on the design, development, and improvement of industrial packaging machinery and systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing mechanical designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams to support manufacturing and installation. The role involves participating in research and development initiatives, testing and troubleshooting equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Khed, requiring close interaction with shop-floor operations and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial packaging machinery and systems.
Proficiency in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed mechanical components and assemblies.
Experience with Project Management, including planning, coordination, and documentation of engineering projects.
Background in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, and implementing design improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and industry standards, and to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and quality functions.
Experience in packaging machinery, industrial equipment, or related manufacturing sectors is an advantage.
