Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Power Mech Projects Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves supporting project planning and execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and monitoring progress against timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Assistant Manager will assist in resource allocation, documentation, reporting, and process adherence to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Responsibilities include maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders, preparing status reports and presentations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also includes mentoring team members, helping to resolve operational issues, and supporting senior management in strategic and day-to-day decision-making.
Qualifications
Strong project coordination and operations management skills, with the ability to manage schedules, resources, and documentation.
Competence in stakeholder communication, including clear written and verbal communication and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data interpretation, reporting, and proactive issue resolution.
Knowledge of power sector or infrastructure projects (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical) and familiarity with safety and quality standards.
Proficiency in common office and project tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, presentations; exposure to project management software is an advantage).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an added benefit.
Proven ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and support multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior experience in an assistant manager or supervisory role in engineering, construction, or related industries is preferred.
