Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Facade Designer role based in Gurugram. The Facade Designer will be responsible for developing detailed facade concepts and designs for building exteriors, including cladding and glazing systems. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with structural, architectural, and fabrication teams, and ensuring that designs comply with safety, performance, and aesthetic requirements. The role also involves material selection, technical problem-solving, and providing design support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development to installation.
Qualifications
Strong skills in facade and facade design, with the ability to develop practical and aesthetic exterior solutions.
Experience with cladding and glazing systems, including material selection and detailing.
Proficiency in preparing and interpreting shop drawings and technical documentation.
Relevant experience in building envelope design, structural coordination, and construction processes.
Working knowledge of CAD and/or BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software).
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clients and contractors.
