Role Description The Graphic Designer cum Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for creating and refining visual content that supports PR campaigns and brand communication. This role involves designing graphics, logos, and branding materials for corporate and political clients, including social media creatives, campaign collateral, and video-related visual assets. The Graphic Designer cum Editor will handle layout design, typography choices, and visual consistency across platforms, while also editing existing content to align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Daily tasks include collaborating with PR strategists, writers, and video teams, translating concepts into compelling visuals, and managing multiple design projects under tight timelines. The role also requires maintaining organized design files, preparing print and digital-ready artwork, and proactively contributing visual ideas that enhance campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to create visually engaging content for digital and print media.
Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding to develop and maintain cohesive visual identities for diverse clients.
Solid understanding of Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and readability for various formats.
Hands-on experience with industry-standard design and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro or similar).
Ability to interpret creative briefs, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and respond constructively to feedback.
Portfolio demonstrating design and editing work, preferably including campaign, corporate, or political communication projects.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media, or a related field is preferred.
