Founded after the 2008 Ron Paul Presidential Campaign, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the nation’s largest pro-liberty youth movement, building a powerful network of activists to transform states into beacons of freedom.
We drive real change in America by working through our "Build - Elect - Pass" model:
Build: We are building the largest nationwide movement of committed youth activists on American college campuses, with pro-liberty students fighting on hundreds of campuses across the country.
Elect: We mobilize our base of committed youth activists to be the grassroots muscle on campaigns of principled liberty legislators through Operation Win at the Door. Since 2018, we've built a coalition of 400 active legislators in our National Liberty Legislator Coalition, and thousands of YAL-recruited students have knocked on over 6 million doors to turn out the vote.
Pass: We train this coalition of principled liberty legislators to pass transformative policy at the state level. This coalition has already passed over 1,250 pro-liberty bills spanning from Universal School Choice, to Constitutional Carry, to major tax cuts and so much more. About The Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for deploying digital communications across Young Americans for Liberty and the Young Americans for Liberty Foundation. Working closely with the Marketing team, you'll deploy communications across multiple digital platforms, manage audience data, publish content, and ensure every deployment is accurate and on time.
Success in this role is measured by accuracy, consistency, and speed. This role rewards execution. Demonstrate consistent accuracy, reliability, and ownership, and you'll have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and help improve Marketing operations.
This position reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing.
📍 Location: Fully remote (hybrid available for candidates located in Austin, TX)
What You'll Do
Execute digital communications
Build, schedule, and deploy marketing emails, P2P/A2P text messages, press releases, and social media ads
Execute rapid-response communications when priorities shift
Leverage AI tools to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency
Manage audience data
Build and maintain audience lists in HubSpot
Apply tagging, segmentation, and attribution standards
Ensure every communication reaches the intended audience
Publish content and coordinate communications
Publish blog posts and website content through Webflow
Deploy content through the YAL Action Center
Coordinate with external vendors on live calls and robocalls
Support social media publishing as needed
Improve marketing operations
Support additional Marketing projects as priorities shift
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational efficiency
Review deployment performance data and identify opportunities to improve future deployments
What Success Looks Like
Digital communications are consistently deployed accurately, on time, and without operational errors.
Standard operating procedures are followed with exceptional attention to detail
Audience lists, tagging, and attribution remain accurate
AI tools are incorporated into daily workflows to improve speed and accuracy.
Consistent execution creates opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and operational improvements.
Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to execute repetitive, process-driven work accurately and consistently
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new software and platforms
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
Strong communication skills, including proactively communicating deadlines, resource needs, and potential issues
Strongly aligned with Young Americans for Liberty’s mission and principles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HubSpot or other CRM/email marketing platforms
Experience with Webflow, Meta Ads, or SMS/text platforms
Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini
Experience reviewing digital marketing performance data
Familiarity with legislative advocacy or political organizations
Compensation & Benefits
Position type: Full-time | FLSA status: Exempt
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
