PH Head (Procurement Hub Head ) - Indore & Ahmedabad

Responsibility Area:
Product Development and Production
To Support on product development & ensuring OTIF and OFR is achieved.
To ensure the growth of PH in terms of Qty/Value sourced from its vendors.
Final closure on costs and ensuring the team delivers on corporate GP targets
Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to production
To ensure that order stock balance is maintained for OFR fulfilment
To ensure that all timelines and critical path are maintained.
Quality Control
To monitor and support the Quality team with solutions and resolutions
To facilitate close interaction between QC & Production/Merchandiser team at PH
To effectively escalate Quality issue to QC HO wherever required
To ensure vendor compliances with QC standards
To arbitrate on issues pertaining to penalties/rejections/discounts
To formulate vendor strategy for the PH in keeping with future goals of the company
Vendor Management
To identify and appoint new relevant vendors to enhance vendor base
To Identify base of vendors to include design based vendors, vendors with cost advantage etc.
To support in development and sustaining of existing vendors as per the Product Team's Requirements
Monitor vendor efficiency through vendor visits and support in vendor assessment.
Ensure that Vendor capacity is utilised consistently.
Team Development & Management
To provide support, motivation and encouragement to colleagues and team members & explore job rotations and career planning
To hire deploy and manage team to enhance team productivity
To identify training needs for the team and ensure they are addressed
Running a detailed induction program along with Training department for induction of new team members
Delegate & empower team for enhanced performance without abdicating responsibility
Demonstrate an orientation to encourage partnership and manage conflicting opinions in group situations
To be able to effectively resolve disputes and misunderstanding within/between teams and create a conducive work environment
PH Administration
To ensure PH functions smoothly.
Providing Adequate functional infrastructure at the PH
Coordinating with external agencies and service providers like Housekeeping, Security etc.
To ensure PH expenses are within the OPEX budget
To ensure that the PH complies with all SPPI/Finance protocols & audits requirement
Stakeholder Relationship Management
To effectively manage communication with internal departments, PH team, PSC and vendors
Educational Qualification:
B F.Tech / M.F.Tech / BE Textiles
Experience Required:
15-18 years of work experience in Apparel Sourcing and Production (Experience in Retail Indian ethnic wear brands preferred; Specific experience of craft clusters will be preferable)
