Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Engineer role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Industrial Engineer will analyze and optimize production workflows, resource utilization, and facility layouts to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing and project execution. Daily responsibilities include collecting and interpreting operational data, developing process improvements, implementing lean practices, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, maintenance, and project management. The role also involves preparing technical documentation, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, and participating in the deployment of new equipment, tools, and systems. The Industrial Engineer will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure that engineering solutions align with project timelines, regulatory requirements, and company objectives.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in industrial engineering principles, including process optimization, workflow analysis, facility layout, and operations research.
Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma), and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and use of relevant software (e.g., Excel, industrial engineering or simulation tools, ERP systems).
Understanding of quality management practices, safety standards, and compliance requirements in industrial and infrastructure project environments.
Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams in manufacturing, projects, and engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; advanced qualifications or certifications in lean/Six Sigma are an advantage.
Prior experience in heavy engineering, Gas Turbine Parts Manufacturing, infrastructure, oil and gas, or related sectors is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in the Greater Ahmedabad Area and adapt to dynamic project and production environments.
