Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in India, responsible for guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting and counseling applicants and parents, explaining academic programs and school offerings, conducting campus tours, and responding to inquiries in person, over phone, and via email. The role involves managing applications, evaluating candidate fit, coordinating interviews or assessments, and maintaining accurate records in admissions systems. The Senior Admissions Counselor will also support outreach activities, participate in school events, collaborate with academic and administrative teams, and contribute to meeting enrollment targets while ensuring a positive, inclusive experience for all applicants.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for engaging with students, families, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to provide a high-quality admissions experience and support enrollment goals.
Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in school or academic counseling environments.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and applications efficiently.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and admissions or CRM software tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or student services is highly beneficial.
