Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PSW Group is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and performance. The CFO will lead the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to senior leadership and stakeholders. This role includes developing long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, as well as monitoring cash flow, profitability, and key financial metrics across global operations and subsidiaries. The CFO will collaborate with executive leadership on strategic decisions, risk management, capital allocation, and investment opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities also include improving financial processes, managing relationships with external auditors and financial partners, and providing clear, data-driven insights to support operational and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to design and implement effective budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation strategies.
Strong proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced Analytical Skills, including the capacity to evaluate complex data, assess financial risk, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Extensive leadership experience in senior finance roles, ideally within manufacturing, metals, or sustainability-focused industries.
Knowledge of international financial regulations, compliance standards, and best practices for multi-entity and cross-border operations.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, part-time executive capacity, collaborating across time zones and cultures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
