Role Description The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and a range of restorative and preventive procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and other clinical services, as well as educating patients on oral hygiene and long-term dental health. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, coordinating with dental assistants and hygienists, and following clinic protocols for infection control and patient safety. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring active participation in the clinic schedule, case discussions, and team meetings.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution and valid dental registration/license as per local regulatory requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of general dental procedures such as restorative work, endodontics, and basic oral surgery.
Candidates should possess strong patient communication and counseling skills, including the ability to explain treatment options clearly and provide empathetic care.
Candidates should possess familiarity with infection control standards, clinical documentation, and adherence to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment, demonstrate professionalism, and manage time effectively.
Experience in a clinical setting or internship, and exposure to modern dental equipment and digital radiography, will be considered an advantage.
