Role Description The Owner role at Print-O-Graphics is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Owner is responsible for overseeing daily operations, including production scheduling, quality control, and order fulfillment. This role involves managing finances, budgeting, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth supply of materials and healthy business margins. The Owner leads and supports staff, sets performance expectations, and fosters a safe, inclusive, and efficient workplace. The position also includes building and maintaining client relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and making strategic decisions to grow the company and strengthen its market position.
Qualifications
Ability to manage end-to-end business operations, including production workflows, inventory, and order tracking.
Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and basic accounting practices to maintain profitability and cash flow.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop team members.
Customer relationship management skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and service-oriented communication.
Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities for business development, market analysis, and long-term planning.
Familiarity with printing processes, equipment, and quality standards (or willingness to learn quickly in this domain).
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site full time in Kolkata and handle responsibilities with a high level of integrity and accountability.
Prior experience in small business ownership, operations management, or a similar leadership role is highly beneficial.
