Position: Clinical Publications Author
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50 - $80/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Author and review evaluation tasks for AI tool development
Assess AI-generated drafts for adherence to publishing standards
Evaluate scientific accuracy in various manuscript sections
Verify publication claims against source records accurately
Provide structured feedback for assessment rationales
Collaborate with leads to refine evaluation criteria and practices
Develop best practices for workflows in scientific publishing
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical/scientific publication authoring
Strong knowledge of publication guidelines like ICMJE and CONSORT
Proven experience with peer-reviewed manuscripts in biomedical journals
Ability to interpret complex clinical data into narratives
Exceptional written communication and feedback skills
Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or medicine preferred
Expertise in oncology, immunology, or rare diseases is valued
