Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and innovative Mechanical CAD Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks expertise. You will be responsible for developing precise 3D models and engineering drawings that drive the design and manufacturing of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in turning concepts into production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs, exploded views, and revision histories.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
Apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize designs for cost-effective production.
Conduct design reviews and implement feedback efficiently.
Modify existing designs and drawings to reflect engineering changes or improvements.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, company specifications, and relevant regulations.
Adapt to different projects in a short span of time.
Requirements:
Essential:
1+ years’ experience as a CAD Design Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings).
Working knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing methods (e.g., machining, sheet metal, plastics, weldments).
Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical documentation.
Desirable:
Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM or similar data management systems.
Experience in sheet metal, fabricated structures, weldments, or electromechanical assemblies.
Exposure to FEA, thermal, or motion simulation tools.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
