BIM MEP, ELV and Electrical Modelers

Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. BIM MEP, ELV, and Electrical Modelers will create, develop, and maintain coordinated BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and extra-low voltage systems across various projects. Daily tasks include interpreting construction drawings, modeling building services in BIM software, updating models based on design changes, and ensuring alignment with architectural and structural models. The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design conflicts, performing basic clash checks, and preparing model-based outputs such as views, schedules, and drawings. Modelers will also support documentation, adhere to company standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows and templates.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience creating and managing coordinated models.
Ability to interpret and work with Construction Drawings, including layouts, sections, and details for building services.
Practical understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including routing, equipment placement, and coordination with other disciplines.
Experience as a Modeler in building services or related architectural and engineering environments.
Relevant diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural engineering or technology.
Attention to detail, ability to follow standards, and commitment to producing accurate models and documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid on-site/remote setup.
Hands-on experience with common BIM or CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) and familiarity with model coordination processes is an advantage.
Prior experience in building services design or construction projects in India or similar markets is beneficial.
