We are looking for an experienced Patient Service Representative based in South Africa to join the team of a growing US-based dental practice.
This is a proactive outbound role focused on supporting patient acquisition efforts. You will be responsible for making outbound calls to targeted patient lists, following up with prospective patients, and supporting campaigns across direct mail, digital marketing, and other outreach initiatives.
The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, and able to build rapport quickly while maintaining a professional and patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to targeted patient lists and prospective patients
Follow up with leads generated through direct mail, digital campaigns, and other marketing initiatives
Engage prospective patients, understand their needs, and encourage them to book appointments
Conduct timely and consistent follow-up with prospects who have not yet converted
Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, follow-ups, and appointment outcomes
Work closely with the dental practice and relevant team members to support patient acquisition goals
Identify opportunities to improve outreach and conversion rates
Represent the practice professionally during every patient interaction
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a Patient Representative or a similar role
Dental or medical industry experience is highly beneficial
Previous experience working with US-based businesses or customers is highly beneficial
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Confident and comfortable making outbound calls
Ability to build rapport and engage people quickly
Ability to work US-aligned hours from South Africa
