Role Description The Co-Founder and CTO with Investment will serve as a key strategic and technical leader, responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision while contributing capital and long-term commitment to the business. This full-time, on-site role in the Noide, sector-63 involves leading the architecture and development of VariantPay and related platforms, overseeing engineering teams, and ensuring scalability, security, compliance, and performance across all systems. The role includes setting technical roadmaps, selecting tools and frameworks, and establishing best practices for software development, DevOps, and QA. The Co-Founder and CTO will collaborate closely with other founders and business stakeholders on product strategy, go-to-market plans, and partnerships, while supporting fundraising, investor communication, and technology due diligence. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on technical problem-solving, mentoring team members, reviewing code and designs, and driving continuous improvement in both technology and operations.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills for evaluating architectures, performance, security, finding bugs and product-market fit; ability to use data and research to inform technical and business decisions.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineering teams, clients, and investors; ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
Sales and marketing awareness, including the ability to support technical sales discussions, contribute to product positioning, and align technology capabilities with market needs.
Research capabilities to stay current with fintech trends, payment technologies, security standards, and regulatory requirements, and to translate insights into product and platform improvements.
Proven experience as a senior technology leader (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, Lead Architect) in fintech, payments, or enterprise SaaS, with a track record of building scalable and secure platforms.
Hands-on expertise in modern backend technologies, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, API design, and database optimization; familiarity with security, compliance, and reliability best practices.
Experience leading and scaling engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and establishing development processes and quality standards.
Ability to make a meaningful financial investment.
