Employee Relations ManagerRole Description
We are seeking a people-focused and solutions-oriented Employee Relations Manager to promote positive workplace relationships, support employee engagement, and ensure fair and consistent people practices across the organization. The role will provide guidance on employee relations matters, workplace policies, conflict resolution, and organizational standards.
Key responsibilities include managing employee relations cases, providing guidance to employees and managers on workplace policies and procedures, supporting grievance and disciplinary processes, and ensuring concerns are handled objectively, confidentially, and in a timely manner. The role will work closely with HR and business leaders to identify workplace issues, resolve conflicts, and strengthen communication between employees and management.
The Employee Relations Manager will also review and improve HR policies, monitor employee relations trends, support investigations, maintain accurate documentation, and provide insights to management on workplace matters. The role requires sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, discretion, empathy, and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business, Law, Psychology, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of employee relations, workplace policies, conflict resolution, and HR practices.
Knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication, negotiation, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities with a fair and objective approach.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
Strong case management, documentation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS or employee management systems.
Ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
High level of integrity, emotional awareness, adaptability, and commitment to a respectful and inclusive workplace.
