Job Description – CCTV, Access Control & Barrier Technician
Position: CCTV, Access Control & Barrier Technician
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Hyderabad
Job Responsibilities
* Installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of CCTV Surveillance Systems.
* Installation and configuration of IP Cameras, NVRs, DVRs, PoE Switches and CCTV accessories.
* CCTV camera alignment, IP configuration, recording setup and playback troubleshooting.
* Troubleshooting of CCTV networking, cabling, power and connectivity issues.
* Installation and maintenance of Access Control Systems.
* Hands-on experience with RFID/card readers, biometric devices, magnetic locks, exit buttons, door controllers and accessories.
* Installation, configuration and maintenance of Automatic Boom Barriers.
* Installation and maintenance of Flap Barriers / Turnstile Systems.
* Integration of Access Control with Boom Barriers, Flap Barriers and Vehicle Access Systems.
* Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, Wiegand and RS-485 communication.
* Site visits for installation, commissioning, service and AMC requirements.
* Identify and troubleshoot hardware, wiring, power supply and communication issues.
* Coordinate with customers and project teams and provide technical support.
* Prepare basic installation/service reports.
Required Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience in CCTV, Access Control and Security Systems.
* Strong practical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Boom Barriers and Flap Barriers.
* Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Hikvision, CP Plus, Matrix, ESSL, ZKTeco or similar.
* Ability to independently handle installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
* Good knowledge of basic networking and structured cabling.
* Good communication and customer-handling skills.
* Willingness to travel to customer sites within Hyderabad and nearby locations.
Qualification
* ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification preferred.
* Relevant hands-on field experience will also be considered.
Preferred Candidate
A hands-on field technician with minimum 2 years of experience who can independently handle CCTV, Access Control, Boom Barriers and Flap Barriers installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
