Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Karnataka, India. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans, including site layouts, structural elements, and infrastructure components in alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks include coordinating with project teams, preparing technical drawings and documentation, assisting with cost estimates, and supporting project planning and scheduling. The role involves monitoring construction activities, conducting site inspections, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout project execution. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues, optimize designs, and contribute to sustainable, efficient infrastructure solutions.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and applied Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and develop technical drawings and specifications.
Experience in planning, project coordination, and scheduling for infrastructure or construction projects, including resource and time management.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, drainage design, and relevant local and national codes or standards.
Educational background as a Civil Engineer (Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field) and familiarity with common civil engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, or similar).
Understanding of site supervision, quality control, safety practices, and sustainable engineering methods.
Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and readiness to operate on-site in varying field conditions.
Prior experience in infrastructure or construction projects in India is an advantage; knowledge of regional regulations in Karnataka is beneficial.
