Role Description The Assistant Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagari. This position supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and tracking project activities to ensure timely and efficient execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, monitoring progress, communicating with vendors and internal teams, and maintaining documentation related to materials, inspections, and logistics. The role also involves supporting expediting activities to ensure equipment and materials arrive as planned, coordinating site inspections, and helping resolve operational issues. The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with technical staff, management, and external partners to uphold safety, quality, and budget requirements across projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to track and accelerate the delivery of materials and equipment as needed for project timelines.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, scheduling, and progress monitoring in a project environment.
Candidates should possess Inspection skills to support quality checks, compliance verification, and documentation of field or site inspections.
Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to help coordinate transportation, material handling, and inventory tracking for project sites.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
Basic understanding of electrical or construction projects is beneficial; prior experience in a technical or project coordination role is an advantage.
Proficiency in common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, project tracking tools) and willingness to learn new systems.
Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
