Head - Legal / Manager – Legal

Sayba Spaces is looking for an experienced legal professional with strong expertise in real estate transactions, contract drafting, title due diligence and litigation management.
Key responsibilities:
• Draft and review development agreements, conveyance deeds, lease deeds, powers of attorney, LOIs, term sheets, service agreements, confidentiality agreements and other legal documents
• Conduct title due diligence and review land and revenue records
• Negotiate and close real estate transactions, including JVs, SPAs, SHAs and shareholder agreements
• Examine commercial contracts and establish appropriate legal controls and checkpoints
• Manage stamp duty, registration and documentation processes
• Handle litigation, disputes and coordination with advocates and senior counsels
• Advise internal teams on RERA, property laws, compliance requirements and governance practices across India
• Support customer documentation, leasing matters, NOCs and dispute resolution
• Monitor legal developments and maintain an updated legal knowledge repository
Candidate profile:
• LLB and/or LLM
• 8–10 years of relevant experience for Head and 5- 6 years of experience for Manager
• Experience with a reputed law firm, real estate company, developer, or private equity fund preferred
• Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, land-related laws and title due diligence
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, stakeholder-management and problem-solving skills
