User Experience Writer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a User Experience Writer. The User Experience Writer will craft clear, concise, and user-centered copy for product interfaces, including microcopy, tooltips, error messages, navigation labels, and onboarding flows. The role involves collaborating with product managers, UX designers, researchers, and engineers to define content requirements, align copy with product strategy, and maintain consistency in tone and terminology. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting or reviewing UX research, creating content guidelines, iterating on copy based on user feedback and testing, and documenting content patterns in style guides. The User Experience Writer will also help ensure accessibility and localization readiness of content while supporting cross-functional initiatives that enhance overall product experience.
Qualifications
Strong User Experience Writing skills, with the ability to create clear, useful, and empathetic interface copy.
Technical Writing and general Writing skills to document features, flows, and content standards in an organized, accessible way.
Experience with UX Research, including interpreting research findings and usability feedback to inform content decisions.
Content Strategy skills to define messaging frameworks, voice and tone guidelines, and content structures across the product.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and consistency in style.
Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams in a remote environment.
Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Figma or similar) and working within design systems is beneficial.
Understanding of accessibility principles, inclusive language, and best practices for writing in digital interfaces.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Communications, English, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar) or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience writing UX content for SaaS products or enterprise software is an advantage.
