Role Description The Assistant Store Manager – Gold and Diamond is a full-time, on-site role based in Jharkhand, India. This role is responsible for supporting daily store operations, including supervising sales activities, monitoring inventory for gold and diamond products, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The Assistant Store Manager helps ensure a high level of customer service, manages customer queries and concerns, and supports staff training on product knowledge and selling techniques. The role also includes assisting in cash handling, coordinating with the store manager on sales targets, implementing retail loss prevention measures, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service abilities.
Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
Experience in Store Management, preferably in gold, diamond, or jewelry retail environments.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices and basic understanding of inventory control.
Prior experience in retail sales or assistant store management roles is preferred.
Basic understanding of gold and diamond product categories, quality standards, and pricing is an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store requirements.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or related field is beneficial.
Proficiency in local languages and working knowledge of English for customer and vendor communication.
Demonstrated reliability, integrity in handling cash and valuable inventory, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
