Role Description The Admissions Counsellor is a contract-based (subject to performance for a full-time), on-site role based in Panchkula. This role involves guiding prospective students and families through the admissions process, including providing information about programs, facilities, and academic pathways. The Admissions Counsellor will respond to inquiries, conduct campus tours, counsel applicants on course selection, and support them in completing application and enrollment procedures. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate admission records, coordinating with academic and administrative teams, and contributing to outreach activities such as school events or information sessions. The role also requires consistent follow-up with potential applicants and supporting a positive, inclusive admissions experience aligned with the school’s values.
Qualifications
Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
Customer Service skills to provide a supportive, responsive, and learner-focused admissions experience.
Sales skills to manage inquiries, convert leads into admissions, and support enrollment targets ethically and transparently.
Education-related knowledge or experience to explain academic programs, curricula, and learning pathways clearly.
Relevant experience in admissions, counselling, or student services, preferably in an educational setting.
Ability to work on-site in Panchkula, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Proficiency with Google Suite, CRM or admissions software is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
