Role Description The Manufacturing Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana, responsible for overseeing daily production activities on the shop floor. This role includes managing production teams, assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Manufacturing Supervisor will coordinate production schedules, monitor equipment and materials, and address any operational issues to maintain efficiency. The position involves tracking output, resolving process bottlenecks, collaborating with quality and maintenance teams, and reporting performance and progress to management. The supervisor is also expected to support continuous improvement initiatives and foster a respectful, inclusive working environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead production teams, provide guidance, and manage performance.
Candidates should possess Production Planning abilities to organize schedules, allocate resources, and meet output targets.
Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to monitor product standards, implement inspections, and support corrective actions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions to staff.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Manufacturing Operations to understand processes, equipment use, and safety practices.
Relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Ability to interpret technical documents, production reports, and basic data for decision-making.
Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management, or a related field is preferred.
