STEP One Step Ahead LLP is looking for a UiPath Developer with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining enterprise automation solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on UiPath Developer with 1–3 years of experience in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining RPA solutions using UiPath.The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, UI Automation, Excel automation, data manipulation, exception handling, and workflow development. The role will involve working closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain UiPath automation workflows.
Convert business requirements and process documents into scalable RPA solutions.
Develop workflows using UiPath Studio and standard UiPath activities.
Work with UI Automation, Excel, Outlook/Email, PDF, Web, and Windows-based applications.
Create and maintain reusable workflows, components, and libraries.
Implement REFramework for transaction-based and enterprise automation processes.
Work with Orchestrator for deployment, scheduling, monitoring, jobs, assets, queues, and robot management.
Develop automation using Queues, Assets, Credentials, and Config files.
Implement appropriate exception handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and business/application exception handling.
Troubleshoot production issues and identify root causes of automation failures.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT.
Maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and deployment-related documents.
Follow coding, naming, workflow design, security, and development best practices.
Coordinate with Business Analysts, QA, Project Managers, and other technical teams throughout the automation lifecycle.
Support production deployment and post-production stabilization.
Required Technical Skills
Must Have:
1–3 years of hands-on experience in UiPath RPA Development.
Strong knowledge of UiPath Studio.
Good understanding of UiPath activities and workflow design.
Strong knowledge of:
Hands-on experience with UI Automation and selector handling.
Good knowledge of Excel automation and data manipulation.
Experience with REFramework.
Basic to good understanding of UiPath Orchestrator.
Experience working with Queues, Assets, Credentials, Jobs, Robots, and Processes.
Knowledge of file handling, Excel, Email, PDF and web automation.
Good understanding of VB.NET expressions / basic .NET concepts.
Ability to troubleshoot workflow and application-level errors.
UiPath describes Studio as the development environment where workflows are created and then published for execution through Robots and Orchestrator; its current activity ecosystem also supports areas such as Orchestrator and queue-based processing.
Good to Have
UiPath certification such as Automation Developer Associate.
Experience with API automation / REST APIs.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Exposure to Power Automate or other RPA tools.
Knowledge of Git / version control.
Experience in Banking, BFSI, Finance, or other enterprise domains.
Exposure to UiPath Test Suite / automation testing.
Basic understanding of C# or VB.NET.
Experience working with Citrix or remote applications.
Candidate Profile

Ability to understand business processes and identify automation opportunities.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a project team.
Willingness to learn new UiPath features and automation technologies.
