Advanced Manufacturing Technology Manager

Role Description The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced manufacturing technologies that support Football Factory PK’s product and equipment initiatives. This role involves coordinating technology transfer activities, managing manufacturing-related projects, and collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure efficient, scalable processes. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating new manufacturing methods, defining process requirements, supporting engineering teams with technical documentation, and monitoring production performance metrics. The manager will also identify opportunities for process improvement, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and provide strategic input on manufacturing capabilities to align with business and football development goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to support efficient, high-quality production environments.
Candidates should possess skills in Process Engineering and Technology Transfer to design, optimize, and scale advanced manufacturing processes.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver manufacturing technology initiatives on time and within scope.
Candidates should demonstrate analytical problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and familiarity with modern manufacturing tools and methodologies.
Relevant academic background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working in a remote, part-time setting with strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Experience with sports equipment, apparel, or related manufacturing domains is an advantage but not required.
