Role Description The Electrical-Trades-Recruiting role is a full-time remote position focused on sourcing, screening, and placing qualified electrical trades professionals with partner employers. Daily tasks include posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting initial phone or video interviews, and assessing candidates’ technical experience and certifications. The role involves building and maintaining talent pipelines, coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, and providing regular updates to clients on recruitment progress. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate candidate records in applicant tracking systems, following up with placed candidates and clients to ensure successful onboarding, and continuously improving recruitment strategies based on market trends. Collaboration with internal team members and clients is essential to align on role requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within skilled trades or construction-related fields.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to conduct structured interviews and discuss technical experience clearly.
Ability to use applicant tracking systems, job boards, and professional networking platforms to source and manage candidates.
Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple requisitions and deadlines in a remote environment.
Understanding of basic electrical trades roles (e.g., electrician, apprentice, journeyperson) and relevant certifications or licensing requirements is highly beneficial.
Comfort with remote work tools such as video conferencing, shared documents, and collaboration platforms.
High level of professionalism, ethical standards, and commitment to non-discriminatory hiring practices.
Relevant education or training in human resources, business, or a related field is a plus; equivalent experience also considered.
