Role Description The Registered Pharmacist will work on-site in the Greater Vadodara Area in a full-time capacity, supporting safe and effective dispensing of prescribed medications. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, counseling customers on proper medication use, dosage, and potential side effects, and maintaining up-to-date patient medication records. The role involves ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, company policies, and quality standards, as well as managing inventory, checking expiry dates, and assisting with stock ordering and storage. The pharmacist will collaborate with other team members to provide courteous customer service, address medication-related queries, and promote affordable and appropriate treatment options. This role also includes participating in health awareness initiatives and supporting continuous improvements in pharmacy operations.
Qualifications
Valid registration as a Pharmacist with the appropriate Pharmacy Council and eligibility to practice in the Greater Vadodara Area.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription interpretation, drug interactions, and standard treatment guidelines.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, managing pharmacy inventory, and using basic pharmacy or retail management software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain medication usage and precautions in clear, understandable terms.
Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site retail healthcare environment, including flexible shifts as needed.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm or B.Pharm) from a recognized institution; prior experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy is an advantage.
Comfort working with diverse communities and a demonstrated interest in affordable, accessible healthcare.
