Automation Engineer – Smart Home & Building Automation

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer to join our team and handle the installation, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of smart home and building automation systems.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on-site, understanding electrical and automation systems, and configuring both hardware and software to deliver a seamless end-user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Install and commission smart switches, smart curtains/blinds, motorized doors, digital locks, sensors, and other automation devices.
Configure and integrate smart devices with the company's designated mobile applications and web platforms.
Set up and customize pre-fabricated websites/apps provided by the company for individual clients and projects.
Perform device pairing, programming, scene creation, scheduling, and automation logic configuration.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of complete automation systems.
Coordinate with electricians, contractors, interior designers, and project teams during on-site installations.
Provide basic technical support and user training to clients after installation.
Maintain proper documentation of installations, configurations, and project handovers.
Travel to project sites as required.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field; ITI in Electrical/Electronics will also be considered.
Hands-on experience with electrical wiring, control systems, or home/building automation will be preferred.
Basic understanding of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, networking, IoT devices, and mobile applications.
Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and web-based configuration platforms.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work on-site and travel to client locations.
Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn may also apply.
