Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Kreative Kaka. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including organizing footage, editing sequences, applying transitions, and synchronizing audio. Daily responsibilities include color grading, adding motion graphics and visual effects, and integrating static graphics to enhance brand storytelling across social media and digital campaigns. The role involves collaborating with content, design, and marketing teams to understand project objectives, adapt edits based on feedback, and deliver videos aligned with brand guidelines and timelines. The Video Editor will also maintain file organization, optimize video formats for various platforms, and stay informed about trends in digital video and social-first content.
Qualifications
Strong video production skills, including planning, basic shooting, and organizing raw footage.
Proficient in video editing using industry-standard software, with the ability to craft clear, engaging narratives.
Solid experience in video color grading and visual enhancement to achieve consistent, professional looks.
Competence in motion graphics and integrating graphics to support brand identity and message clarity.
Understanding of social media and digital marketing platforms, including aspect ratios, formats, and best practices for short-form content.
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and openness to iterative feedback and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Relevant experience in digital agencies, content studios, or similar environments; a portfolio showcasing video editing and motion work is required.
Familiarity with audio editing, basic sound design, and file management best practices is a plus.
