Role Description The English Language Teacher will deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons aligned with CBSE standards, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing lesson plans, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a supportive classroom environment. The teacher will design activities that build language proficiency, critical thinking, and creativity, while integrating 21st-century skills into classroom instruction. Additional duties include participating in school events, collaborating with colleagues, communicating with parents or guardians, and contributing to co-curricular and enrichment programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Seth M. R. Jaipuria School in Fatehpur.
Qualifications
Strong English Teaching and general Teaching skills, with the ability to instruct learners across relevant grade levels.
Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum implementation, including creation of engaging learning materials and assessments.
Background in Education, such as a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification, preferably with specialization in English.
Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues, both in the classroom and in school activities.
Experience with CBSE or similar school curricula and familiarity with modern, learner-centered pedagogical approaches.
Ability to use basic educational technology tools to support instruction and student engagement.
Demonstrated commitment to holistic student development, classroom management, and inclusive teaching practices.
Prior school teaching experience in English language or literature is highly beneficial.
