Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Audio Visual Technician role based at Quorum Club Mumbai. The Audio Visual Technician will set up, operate, and monitor AV equipment for meetings, events, and presentations, including sound systems, projectors, displays, lighting, and video conferencing tools. Responsibilities include performing routine equipment checks, troubleshooting technical issues during events, coordinating with event coordinators and vendors, and ensuring all AV setups meet quality and safety standards. The role involves preparing rooms before events, supporting live sessions, performing basic maintenance, and accurately documenting equipment usage and incident reports. The technician will work closely with operations and hospitality teams to deliver smooth, professional AV experiences for members and guests.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot AV issues quickly and effectively, with a focus on minimizing event disruption.
Experience with Video Conferencing platforms and integration with in-room AV equipment.
Practical experience in managing Lighting and Projectors for events and presentations.
Good understanding of signal flow, connectivity (cables, adapters, interfaces), and equipment compatibility.
Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work under pressure during live events.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support members, guests, and internal teams calmly and professionally.
Prior experience in hospitality, event venues, corporate offices, or similar environments is an advantage.
Basic IT literacy and familiarity with operating systems commonly used for presentations and conferencing.
Relevant technical certification or diploma in Audio Visual, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
