Job Profile: Azure AD & Microsoft Intune Support Administrator
Role Summary
The Azure AD & Microsoft Intune Support Administrator provides operational and technical support for identity, access, and endpoint management services using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft Intune. The role focuses on user access support, device management, policy enforcement, and incident resolution, ensuring secure and reliable day-to-day operations of Microsoft 365 services.
Key Responsibilities
Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID Support
•
Create, manage, and support users, groups, and roles in Azure AD
•
Support password resets, account lockouts, MFA issues, and sign-in failures
•
Administer Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and assist users with MFA enrollment
•
Support and monitor Conditional Access policies
•
Manage Azure AD roles and assist with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) requests
•
Handle SSO issues for SaaS and enterprise applications
•
Support hybrid identity environments (Azure AD Connect / Cloud Sync)
•
Review and investigate sign-in logs and audit logs
•
Assist with access reviews and identity governance tasks
Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Support)
•
Support device enrollment for Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS
•
Troubleshoot Intune enrollment failures and compliance errors
•
Support Windows Autopilot device provisioning
•
Deploy and troubleshoot:
o
Configuration profiles
o
Compliance policies
o
Security policies
•
Assist with application deployment issues (Win32, M365 Apps, Store Apps)
•
Support mobile application management (MAM) policies
•
Enforce device compliance for Conditional Access
•
Perform device actions (wipe, retire, reset, sync)
Security & Compliance Support
•
Work with security teams to:
o
Enforce Conditional Access
o
Support Defender for Endpoint integration
o
Monitor device and identity security alerts
•
Ensure compliance with company security standards
•
Assist in identity- and device-related incident response
Operations & IT Service Management
•
Provide L2/L3 support for Azure AD and Intune incidents
•
Work on ServiceNow or similar ITSM tickets
•
Follow ITIL incident, problem, and change management processes
•
Create and maintain support documentation and SOPs
•
Escalate complex issues to engineering or Microsoft Support
•
Participate in change implementation and testing

Experience Level

SC-300 – Identity and Access Administrator
•
AZ-104 – Azure Administrator (basic knowledge)
