Role Description The Video Director will lead the end-to-end creative and production process for video projects, ensuring alignment with brand goals and campaign objectives. In this full-time remote role, the Video Director will develop concepts, create storyboards, plan shoots, and direct on-set or remote productions, collaborating closely with writers, designers, producers, and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing production timelines and budgets, guiding camera work and lighting, overseeing performance direction, and ensuring high-quality footage capture. The role also involves supervising edits, reviewing cuts, providing clear feedback to editors, and optimizing videos for digital platforms and varied formats. The Video Director will contribute to creative strategy, maintain brand consistency across projects, and continuously refine video outputs based on performance insights and client feedback.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Direction and Film Production, with experience leading creative vision from concept to final delivery.
Candidates should possess practical expertise in Video Production and Digital Video, including planning shoots, managing crews, and working with modern cameras and production tools.
Candidates should possess solid Video Editing skills and familiarity with professional editing software, ensuring smooth storytelling, pacing, and visual coherence.
Candidates should possess the ability to translate brand and marketing objectives into compelling visual narratives tailored for social media, ads, and digital campaigns.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or certification in film, media, communications, or a related field are beneficial.
Additional beneficial skills include strong project management, clear communication, collaborative working style, and experience with remote production workflows.
Prior experience in a creative agency or content production environment and a portfolio showcasing diverse video work will be an advantage.
