Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Bengaluru. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform detailed quantity take-offs, and support tendering and contract documentation. Daily responsibilities include tracking project costs, monitoring budget performance, preparing periodic cost reports, and supporting cost planning throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency, validating contractor invoices, and assisting in the evaluation of variations and claims. The Quantity Surveyor will also contribute to risk assessments and recommend cost optimization strategies while maintaining compliance with company and industry standards.
Qualifications
Strong cost management capabilities, including Cost Control and Cost Management skills.
Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support project budgeting and financial tracking.
Hands-on experience with BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and tender documentation.
Working knowledge of construction materials, methods, and interior fit-out processes.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills for working with site and office teams.
Familiarity with MS Excel and quantity surveying or estimation software; AutoCAD exposure is an advantage.
Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related construction discipline.
Prior experience in building or interior projects in an on-site role in Bengaluru or similar markets is beneficial.
